Anar is a collective of young Iranian-Americans in the San Francisco Bay Area who have come together with the vision of creating a community of active, diverse, and engaged Iranians who are in touch with their rich history and forward-looking to the future they are helping to shape.

The core group of Anar consists of seven members: Shiva Alaghemand, Mishana Hosseinioun, Azin Massoudi, Aidin Massoudi, Kimia Mizany, Ahsha Ali Safai, and Hava Tabari. Each has a unique story and is involved in the community in a variety of ways.
